Important Note: There is NO PLOWED ROAD into our camp. Access is by ski, dogsled, or snowmobile only along an 8 mile trail.

The nearest airport to us is in Bangor , Maine, which is a 2.5 hour drive from the trailhead. The nearest motels are in Millinocket, one hours drive from our trailhead. (call for lodging suggestions)

To reach our winter trailhead from Millinocket, drive west on the "Baxter Park" road. After 8 miles, see "North Woods Trading Post" (closed in winter) on right. Cross over to "Golden Road", which runs parallel to Baxter Park Road on the left. Turn right (west) onto the Golden Road, and drive 30 miles. Please drive slowly and watch out for logging trucks. Just before mile marker 38, turn left at signs for "Greenville" and "Kokadjo" Drive 200 yards; parking area is on the left.
